Sharing Your Information In Contacts

For many in the mobile home park or RV park industry, it can be vitally important to get their name, and contact information, out to others. For members that wish to share their information to other members in the Contacts module, this article will guide you through the process of making your profile public.
Overview
When a member wishes to display their contact information in the Contacts module they are first required to manually make their profile public. Members can perform this manual opt-in on the My Profile tab of their profile settings. After opting in, users will be able to view your Personal and Company information, provided in your profile settings, as well as the list of mobile home parks or RV parks you have claimed using the My Parks module.
Definitions
Personal Information - The values you enter in the My Profile tab of your My Profile settings.
Company Information - The values you enter in the My Company tab of your My Profile settings.
Claimed Parks - The list of mobile home parks or RV parks you have claimed using the My Parks module.
Instructions
To display your contact information in the Contacts module, please perform the following steps.
- Login to your MHParks.com account.
- In your Dashboard, click your profile image, located at the top right of your Dashboard.
- In the menu that appears, click My Profile.
- Be sure you are viewing the My Profile tab by clicking My Profile, within the Profile Settings menu, located at the left of the page.
- Click the option Make My Profile Public, located at the bottom left of the form, to place a checkmark in this option.
- Click the Update Profile button, located at the bottom right of the form, to save your changes.
Note - Upon saving your checked option Make My Profile Public, you will immediately begin displaying in the Contacts module as a Member contact to other users.
Note - To stop your information from displaying to other members, in the Contacts module, simply save your My Profile after unchecking the Make My Profile Public option.
