New Park Site requests can be made from the main page of both the Park Sites and My Parks modules. Additionally, you can also request a new Park Site while you are creating a "Park for Sale" Ad.  In this article we will discuss how to request a new mobile home park or RV park to be added to the records of Park Sites from within the Park Sites module. We will also cover what requirements a parks must follow to be included, and who adds the new Park Site.

Overview

The United States is a large area to cover when it comes to knowing where every mobile home park or RV park is physically located. MHParks.com tries diligently to keep up with new parks being built, and is continually searching for parks we may have previously overlooked, but we can't always do it without the help of our members. That's why we provide a simple request form, that members can submit directly to our system administrators, whenever a mobile home or RV park is missing in our system. By our system administrators partnering with with our members, we can continue to grow the number of accurate Park Sites records accessible to everyone.

Definitions

  1. Park Site - A layer of data specific to the park's location which is managed exclusively by our system administrators, and contains information about a mobile home park or RV park's city, county, state, and zip code.
  2. Park Information - A layer of data that is specific to the park and managed by our users. Examples of information contained in this layer are a park's street address, phone number, website, Flood Plain status, Utilities & Streets information, number of mobile home or RV lots, amenities, and park contacts.
  3. Active Lots - The term applied to a mobile home lot or RV lot that is currently occupied or currently available for rent or lease.

Prerequisites

  1. To begin using Park Sites you must be a Premium Member.
  2. When requesting a new mobile home or RV park be added to Park Sites you must know both the Latitude and Longitude of the park you are requesting to be added. This allows our administrators the ability to accurately investigate the specific location your are referring.

Note - Only system administrators are able to add a new Park Site after receiving a user's submitted request.

For any park location to be added to Park Sites, the mobile home park or RV park must follow one of two requirements.
  1. The mobile home or RV park must contain a minimum of 3 active lots.
  2. If the mobile home or RV park contains less than 3 active lots, you must attach a copy of the permit or license, issued by the park's governing body, to the request form.
Note - When attaching a copy of the park's permit or license, the file must be in a .jpeg, .jpg, .png, or .pdf format.

By enforcing that each of our Park Site locations follow one of these two requirements, MHParks.com can provide more accurate records about actual mobile home or RV parks to our members, rather than displaying a location that may simply have a single mobile home for rent or lease.

Instructions

To submit a request for a new Park Site to be added to the Park Sites module, please perform the following steps.
  1. Login to your MHParks.com account.

  5. Attach any required documents that are specific to the mobile home or RV park by clicking the paperclip button and then selecting your document from the file dialog box.
  6. Click Submit to submit the request to our system administrators.

Note - New Park Site requests are typically processed Monday through Friday during normal office hours. A status update will be provided by our system administrators, to the user, once your request has been processed. If you do not receive a status update within 24 to 72 hours of your request, please contact our Support Team at support@mhparks.com.
Note - Missing or incorrect information in your request, will result in the system administrators denying your request.
Important - Our system administrators attempt to position each Park Site map pin in approximately the center of each mobile home or RV park. If you should find a map pin that should be repositioned, please submit a Support Ticket or email our Support Team at support@mhparks.com instead of requesting a new Park Site.

For any questions that you may still have about this, or any other topic in MHParks.com, please contact our Support Team by creating a Support Ticket, chatting, or emailing us at support@mhparks.com.
