MHParks.com offers two forms of advertising for our members to advertise their goods and services to the public. Both our Parks for Sale Ads and Classified Ads are designed specifically to advertise directly to individuals that work in the mobile home & RV park industry.

In this article you will be provided with a general overview of a Parks for Sale Ads. By fully reading this article you will learn key aspects to posting a Parks for Sale Ad,  where and when it will be displayed to the public, and how you can increase your advertisements views by upgrading to a Premium Ad.

Overview

Every Parks for Sale Ad that is published not only provides a platform for mobile home & RV park owners and park brokers to advertise the parks they may have for sale, but also fully integrates seamlessly with both the Parks Sites, My Parks, and Sold Parks modules. This integration ensures that the park's information is kept current in Park Sites while also allowing MHParks.com to provide sale information, to all our members, once a park has been successfully sold. Each Parks for Sale Ad consists of several aspects that members should understand to gain the most success for their advertisements.

Publishing

To create and publish a Parks for Sale Ad users can select the Advertise module from the left menu of their Dashboard. By then clicking the Create "Park for Sale" Ad button in the top right of the page you will be guided through 4 steps. During these steps you will be required to provide which park your are advertising, update the park's information and images, provide the ad's sale information and upload associated documents, and brand your ad so people know who is marketing the park for sale. Once you have successfully saved your ad, you will be able to preview how the ad will look to viewers, and choose to publish your ad immediately, or publish at a later date.

Once you have successfully published your Parks for Sale Ad the first time, an email notification containing your advertisement's link will be sent to all of our Premium Members. Premium Members will have exclusive access to your advertisement for 5 days. On day 6 your park's ad will begin displaying, to the public, from within our Parks for Sale Ads category of our home page. It will continue to be displayed to the public for 30 days.

At the end of your ad's publishing period you will be able to republish your ad for an additional 30 days, as many times as you choose, until the park has sold.

As any good marketer will tell you the more viewers that see your ad, the more ad success your ad will have. That's why each page that displays a Parks for Sale Ad has built-in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) technology that helps search engines discover your specific mobile home park or RV park advertisement. This is done to for the sole purpose of driving more viewers to your advertisement. As an additional way to increase your ad's views we recommend upgrading your Basic Ad to a Premium Ad, at the time you are publishing your ad. By upgrading your advertisement to a Premium Ad your ad will display the green Featured advertisement banner while also appear, at random times, in the Featured Parks for Sale section of the MHParks.com home page. During those times that your advertisement does not display on the home page, it will continually be displayed in front of Basic ads within the Parks for Sale category. Each of these benefits help ensure your ad stands out better to MHParks.com before anyone else's.

Editing An Ad

Sometimes a little wording change in an advertisement can make all the difference. That's why at anytime, you can also choose to pause your published advertisement, make edits to any of its information, and then continue running your advertisement. As an added convenience, when you choose to simply change the Listing Status of your ad to either Sale Pending, Price Reduced, or Sold you can also do so by clicking the edit icon within the Listing Status field, without having to pause your ad.

When you choose to change your Listing Status to Sold, because you have successfully sold your mobile home or RV parkyou will be requested to complete the Submit Sold Park Information form, and your advertisement will no longer be displayed publicly on MHParks.com. This information helps MHParks.com provide our members with comparable sales information, within the Sold Parks module. You can either choose to submit the sale information at that time, or close the form and return at anytime by clicking the Listing Status's Sold link within your ad. After submitting the sale information your sold mobile home or RV park will begin displaying in the Sold Parks module for members to use as a comparable sale.

Your sold park will not appear in the Sold Parks module until you have completed the Submit Sold Park Information form.
To protect the information within our Sold Parks module, once a Listing Status of a Parks for Sale Ad has been changed to Sold, users can not edit it again without contacting Support.

Ad Banners

Banners like Featured, Price Reduced, or Sale Pending are a great way to get a viewer's attention on your ad. By upgrading your advertisement to a Premium Ad, your ad will automatically display the green Featured banner anywhere the ad is displayed on MHParks.com. Additionally you can also display a red Price Reduced or Sale Pending banner on your park's advertisement by changing the Listing Status of your advertisement.

Ad Views

Having your advertisement receive a lot of views by visitors is great, but just knowing the number of viewers doesn't help your marketing. By clicking on the number of views your ad has received, within the Ad Views column, MHParks.com provides you with a list of visitors that have viewed your specific advertisement. Because of the nature of web browsers, and security, when your ad was viewed by someone that was not a logged in member of MHParks.com, the name will simply appear as Visitor. If the viewer happens to be a logged in member their name, phone number, and email address will be displayed so that you can contact them about your park for sale. Additionally each person that views your ad will also be able to contact you directly, or share your ad with their friends, by clicking either the Contact Seller or Share buttons that display in the advertisement.

For any questions that you may still have about this, or any other topic in MHParks.com, please contact our Support Team by creating a Support Ticket, chatting, or emailing us at support@mhparks.com.
