My Profile Settings

While you are first completing the Sign Up page of MHParks.com, you are asked to provide your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number, as well as a few other pieces of information. The information you provide during the sign up process helps to populate the basic information of your My Profile settings. Fully completing the remaining information, in your profile, helps to ensure that your information is correct whenever you decide to advertise within MHParks.com, or make your profile public using the Contacts module. In this article users will become familiar with the My Profile settings and gain an understanding of how they interact with the various aspects of MHParks.com. 

Overview

The My Profile settings can be viewed by clicking your profile image, located in the top right of your Dashboard, and then clicking My Profile from the menu. On the My Profile page you are able to navigate to each set of settings by clicking its corresponding link, located at the right. Additionally, users can upload their personal profile image by clicking the image icon in the Hello section.



The following is a list of the various menu settings that can be set by the user, and a description of how the information will interact with other aspects of MHParks.com.

  1. Profile Image - When you choose to upload a personal image of yourself, the image is used as part of the profile branding option while publishing a Park for Sale Ad, or Classified Ad, from within the Advertise module. It also allows other users to see what you look like when you choose to make your profile public using the Contacts module.   
  2. My Profile - The My Profile tab consists of your basic personal information, and includes a Bio field which you can used to promote yourself when you choose to make your profile public using the Contacts module. The First Name, Last Name, Email Address fields are also used to record your information while making edits to a park's information in Parks Sites, or claim a park you own in My Parks. Additionally, these fields are also used as part of the profile branding option while publishing a Park for Sale Ad, or Classified Ad, from within the Advertise module.  
  3. Change Password - This Change Password tab allows you to change your account's login password for MHParks.com. For security, each time you change your password, you will be required to use a complex password. 
  4. My Company - Within the My Company tab you can enter the contact information specific to your company, or the company you work for. You can also upload your company logo, provide a link to your company website, and provide a description of your company using the Company Information field. This makes it perfect to promote your company when you choose to make your profile public using the Contacts module. Additionally your company logo, name, address, and phone are used as part of the profile branding option while publishing a Park for Sale Ad, or Classified Ad, from within the Advertise module.   
  5. Email Notifications - The options on the Email Notifications tab help users select which advertisement categories they may wish to receive email notices about when other users publish new Parks for Sale Ads or Classified Ads. Unchecking a specific option will prevent you from receiving the notification in that category.   
  6. My Quick Links - The My Quick Links tab allows user to enter various websites that they reference frequently. Once you enter a website's Title and URL in the My Quick Links tab, you are able to quickly access each website's shortcut by using the My Quick Links menu, located at the top right of your Dashboard.  
  7. Social Media - The Social Media tab allows users to provide links to their various social media pages. Whenever you provide your social media information, and choose to make your profile public, other users can quickly access your social media pages with a click of a button, from within the Contacts module. 
  8. Billing & Plans - The Billing & Plans tab allows users to select the type of membership plan that's right for them, and add a payment method that will be used when charges are applied to your transactions within MHParks.com. MHParks.com uses Stripe for all credit card related activates.  
Note - You will not be allowed to change your email address, located on the My Profile tab, after you have signed up for an account on MHParks.com
Note - MHParks.com uses Stripe to process each credit card payment transaction. No credit card payment methods are stored within MHParks.com.
