Deleting a Contact

At times a user may find that a Personal contact, that they have manually added to the Contacts module, has become outdated and no longer wishes to include them in their contacts list. In this article users will learn how to delete a Personal contact from the Contacts module. 

Overview

Within the Contacts module of MHParks.com, users can delete an existing Personal contact from within the Actions field. Contacts that have a Contact Type value of Member will not be able to be deleted since they are a current member of MHParks.com, and have optioned to make their profile public.

Instructions

To delete a Personal contacts in the Contacts module, please perform the following steps.
  1. Login to your MHParks.com account.
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts from the left menu. 
  3. Locate the Personal contact you wish to delete. (Hint - Use the dropdown filter or Search field to help locate the correct contact)
  4. In the Actions field, click the Delete icon. 
  5. Click Yes to confirm you wish to permanently delete the contact. 
Note - Contacts that contain a Contact Type value of Member will not be able to be deleted by the user. 
Warning - Deleting a contact will permanently remove the contact from the Contacts module. This action is not reversible.
